I want to set it so that my Eno PC boots when I flip the power on vs physically pushing the power button on the pc.
Easy to do! You need to make a change in the bios for this to happen. To set this
- Press the power button on the pc and as soon as you do press F2 on the mini keyboard
- This will boot you into the PC bios. Then set it so you can view the advance settings using F7
- Then go under the ADVANCED tab
- Then go to APM Config
- Go down to Restore AC Power Loss --->Power On
- Then press F10 and then Enter to save.
Once you reboot the pc will now power on when you send power to it. You can test it by unplugging the unit from the wall then simply plugging back in, in about 2-3 seconds the pc should begin to boot on its own without pressing the power button on it. This works great with our EMI setup to house the pc inside a arcade cabinet.
